Wanderlust – Reykjavik, Iceland
In February of this year, I decided to go backpack across Europe for 7 weeks while Whitney was away in SE Asia (she can’t always have all the fun! =P) . The trip begun in Iceland – after many flights and sleeping on the floor in airports I finally arrived. The majority of the time in Iceland was spent in the country’s capital city, although I did get a chance to go around the “Golden Circle” which will be in my next travel blog.
The following photos were taken in downtown Reykjavik. The large church in the first few photos is one of the country’s landmarks, named “Hallgrimskirkja” after an Icelandic poet, Hallgrímur Pétursson.
Images taken on a Sony NEX7 with a Voigtlander Ultron 28/2 or Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.1
