On August 1st, we shot Jodi and Cam’s wedding. Their wedding took place at a beautiful location just south of Saskatoon. It turned out to be a beautiful day for photos, and Jodi & Cam were such a great, laid-back couple. As you can see Jodi had a very unique dress, it was made by a designer in Seattle!

Congratulations you two!

So this post took me longer to get up than I expected, I’ve been really busy this past week with trying to catch up on a few things while Whitney’s on vacation at her lake up north! Here are a few of the images from the short session we did outside the day after:

Chantel NB - I adore the last picture!

Today we went to Carine & Jared’s home to photograph their 10 day old newborn! This was our first commissioned newborn shoot ever and we’re very happy with the results! Carine had a ton of great ideas and their beautifully decorated home gave us lots of props/backgrounds to choose from. Here is a small preview of our favorite images:

Justin Gryba - You would have never guessed it was your first new born shoot. Like you said earlier whitney, that vintage chair is awesome. I’d say my favorites are with that chair, and the one with that little stuffed dog (cute and funny all wrapped together!)

This past Saturday Whitney and I had the privilege of attending and photographing Rachel and Blair’s wedding. They had an intimate ceremony at her parents acreage which is just outside of Laird, SK. The weather couldn’t have been better, it was 30+ celsius out! Rachel & Blair are such a fantastic couple, and are completely in love. It was a very fun day photographing them, and meeting their friends and family. We went to Agar’s Corner for the reception (which is incredible by the way – the food, location, everything!). Also, for the first time in our careers as wedding photographers, we tried wedding cake, and wow we were missing out!

Thank you two for the wonderful day and we wish you all the best in the future!

jessie - awesome lighting for those dance shots.
    love it.

On Friday, we drove out of the city to meet Margo and Sheldon at Margo’s family acreage where she grew up! There were so many beautiful locations and trails that we went to. We then left the acreage to go to a wild flower patch, and then from there we went to an old abandoned farm yard! Here are a few (there are so many!) of our favorite images from the shoot:
