About us

The Team
envoguephotography

Hi there! We are Whitney + Dylan - wedding & portrait photographers based out of New Denver, British Columbia and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. We're so grateful for being able to do what we are truly passionate about, for a living!  It's truly amazing being able to document both big and small special moments, and have the trust that our clients have given us to do so. We want every portrait session or wedding we photograph to feel like a true expression of you. Our style can be described as light-hearted, journalistic, and minimalist.
We have photographed over 200 weddings together nationally and internationally since 2008, some highlights include Morocco, Jamaica, Indonesia and Mexico.

Hi! I'm Whitney and the lead photographer for En Vogue Photography. The last decade plus I've been a full-time wedding and portrait photographer, which has blended the lines between who I am professionally and personally, as I feel in photography that can’t be fully separated. I'm an intuitive soul who loves connection, open communication and spontaneous adventures and last minute plans over meticulous planning. I’m a vegetarian who loves growing my own food (and flowers), a self taught potter, wild mushroom nerd, yoga teacher with a specialization in alignment, cat-petting catcafe frequenter (who has 3 cats of my own), and always up for a walk in the forest or a flight to somewhere new. I met my partner on a trip to India in 2018 and we currently live a quiet life in a tiny home, in a tiny mountain town, in the Slocan Valley, BC - but travel to Saskatchewan often where my business is based out of!

Dylan McAmmond13243885_10156877618425627_1532160532902578401_oMy love for photography began in highschool film class, I would spend hours in the darkroom; everything about photography fascinates me. I've never been much for words, so being able to use my camera to tell stories has always felt right to express myself. I love my job and the memories it allows me to create with so many people. Outside of photography, I love hanging out with my many animal-friends (dog, cats, snake, parrot & hundreds of fish), gardening and also running a large-scale aquaponics system.

In November 2022 Dylan suddenly and tragically passed away in his sleep at 31 years old. We miss him deeply, there are no words to describe the heartbreak so many of us felt in this loss. The creative gifts and compassionate perspectives he shared with the world will be part of his lasting legacy.
